Belmont Park is a lovely local park near the Royal Marsden Hospital. It provides a place to relax on a summer's day, you can enjoy a game of table tennis or have a picnic on one of the picnic tables.
Sutton Council and the LTA have recently announced a partnership to invest in and refurbish public park tennis courts across the district. In total, twenty-four tennis courts in seven parks will be renovated, with investment of over £550,000 ensuring that quality facilities are available for the local community.
The park venues being renovated are:

These courts are available to book via the LTA website.
There is a fee of £6 for an hour of use or alternatively a household annual season ticket costs £50.
Work on these sites is anticipated to start in July 2023 and be completed by October 2023.
There will still be a number of courts where tennis will remain free, available on a first come basis.

Benhill Recreation Ground is an open grassland to the west along Benhill Road. It provides a large play area for children to enjoy, and picnic tables for lunch. There are inclusive picnic tables available for people with limited mobility.

Carshalton Park is one of Sutton's parks that is rich in historical significance. When you walk through the park you will see The Grotto which dates back to 1724 and the Hog Pit pond which dates back to the mediaeval era!
