What is this service?
Adapt to Learn was founded with a vision to increase awareness and knowledge of the difficulties faced by children with social communication needs and autism.
Co-founders Melanie and Tracy are Specialist Practitioners and have over 30 years’ experience working in the field of Special Educational Needs.
We provide a wide range of practical and relevant training opportunities to help increase understanding of this complex group of children. We offer individual assessments, effective strategies and bespoke interventions. We are also licensed to facilitate a range of nationally recognised parent/carers programmes.
In our experience, working together using a child-centred approach helps children and young people to communicate more successfully, understand their own emotions, reduce their anxiety and ultimately increase their self-esteem and sense of well-being.
